During the exhilarating weekend of July 8th to July 10th, 2022, SPEEDLINE teamed up with four exceptional Hong Kong Race Driver: Yan Zhuowei, Tong Weifeng, David Lau, and Tommy Ku. Together, they create the formidable Race For Mind Wellness Team and embarked on a thrilling adventure at the 24H Series 24-hour endurance race. The event took place at the world-renowned Portimao Algarve International Circuit in Portugal, where they unleashed their skills behind the wheel of the mighty Audi RS3 LMS TCR car.
Nestled in the captivating surroundings of Portimao (Escapadinho), Portugal, the Algarve Circuit stands as a testament to exceptional engineering and innovation. Designed with meticulous attention to detail, the track boasts an astonishing 64 different layout combinations. These configurations offer an astounding variety of 64 distinct tracks, allowing racers to customize their experience according to their preferences. Spanning 3,465 meters at its shortest and an awe-inspiring 4,692 meters in the renowned F1 layout (also the longest), the circuit presents a blend of challenging curves, narrow stretches, and high-speed sections. Its undulating terrain further elevates the difficulty level, providing racers with an exhilarating and demanding experience.
Following a grueling 24-hour test of endurance, the Race For Mind Wellness racing team emerged triumphant, securing an impressive second-place finish in the highly competitive TCR category.
